Green Light for the second phase until October 2015

CC-LandStraD has been evaluated as successful by international reviewers in the Federal Ministry of Education and Research

Reviewers of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research evaluated the project and recommended proceeding with CC-LandStraD for the next three and a half years. The project team has actively begun the second phase of the project.

The regional and national stakeholder process, with land use players, was a special focus of the first phase of the project. Interviews were conducted with several players in the sectors agriculture, forestry, settlement and transport, nature and environmental protection and information on the status of land use in Germany was collated. The results of the interviews were interpolated into the development of the scenario concept CC-LandStraD, and in a preliminary catalogue of measures. The measure catalogue is the basis for modeling in CC-LandStraD and for the quantitative and qualitative assessment of the sustainable land use strategies. Both will be major tasks during the second phase of the project.

First results of CC-LandStraD will be presented at a status conference at the beginning of 2013.
