Expert Workshop Agriculture in the course of Climate Change

Expert Workshop "Agriculture in the course of Climate Change – Status Quo of Land Management and Possible Mitigation Measures to Climate"

On April 1, 2014 a workshop with national stakeholders from the sector of agriculture took place which was organized by the subproject 'Participation on national level'. On the one-day workshop the sectoral reference scenario was presented. This so-called baseline scenario contains a wide range of model-based quantitative assessments for the development of the different branches of agriculture, land use and prices by 2023, to mention but a few. This baseline is adjusted with the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture and the federal states (Bundesländer). In the second part of the workshop the participants discussed a number of climate mitigation measures for future agriculture and assigned them to the CC-LandStraD land use strategies. The workshop was again a possibility to pass ideas, questions, and recommendations into the research process of CC-LandStraD. The minutes are available on the project homepage. (in German)
